Baby Girl Shower Cupcakes

 These cute little babies in blankets are half chocolate cupcakes and half vanilla.  They are all decorated in buttercream frosting.  I might have gone a little bit overboard with the photo shoot of these little girls, but I thought they were too cute!

Fall Cupcakes

Just some fall cupcakes to practice my gumpaste leaves for my cousin's upcoming wedding.  Yellow cupcakes with buttercream frosting and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream.

This cake was for my husband's family golf tournament.  It was one layer chocolate cake and one layer yellow cake with buttercream filling.  The sand trap is graham cracker crumbs and the golfball is gumpaste.  Fore!

22nd Birthday Cake

The request for this cake was that it have chocolate buttercream and the birthday guy's favorite color red.  This is what I came up with.  It's yellow almond cake with chocolate buttercream filling and icing.  Happy Birthday Andrew!

Giraffe for Grandma

My daughter Addie got to pick what kind of cake we made for my mother-in-law, her grandma.  She decided it had to be a giraffe cake because grandma loves giraffes.  The cake was one layer chocolate and one layer yellow with chocolate buttercream filling and buttercream icing.  Happy Birthday Grandma!

Baby Boy Shower

I was so happy to do the cake and cookie favors for my friend Jane's baby shower.  We have been friends since our 1st year of teaching over 10 years ago.  She married my husband's childhood friend Tom, and they're expecting their 1st baby in November!  The top tier of the cake was lemon with raspberry and cream filling and the bottom tier was yellow almond cake with buttercream filling.  We all can't wait to meet Baby Boy Howes!  Congrats Jane & Tom!

Casino Cupcakes

 These cupcakes were for a casino themed work event.  Half of the cupcakes are chocolate and the other half are yellow.  Half of each flavor cupcake are covered in buttercream and the other half in chocolate buttercream.  They're topped with gumpaste playing cards and dice!

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cupcakes

These yummy little guys are chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream frosting.  They're topped off with half of a Reese's Peanut Butter cup!
